Using the Case Calendar in Coordination

When you're planning ahead or managing a high volume of cases, the Case Calendar gives you a monthly view of what's coming up and where vendor coordination stands — without having to scroll through the case list day by day. It's a quick way to spot days with unassigned cases or pending vendor responses before they become urgent.

How to Open the Case Calendar

Tap Case Calendar in the top-right corner of the Coordination page. The calendar opens as an overlay showing the current month. Use the arrow buttons at the top to navigate forward or backward by month. Tap the X to close and return to the case list.

What the Calendar Shows

Each day that has scheduled cases displays a breakdown by vendor coordination status:

  • For Review (blue): Cases that have no vendor assigned yet and need action
  • Pending (yellow): Cases where at least one vendor request has not yet been responded to
  • Rejected (red): Cases where at least one vendor request has been declined

For Review always appears for any day that has scheduled cases, even if the count is zero. Pending and Rejected only appear on days where cases have those statuses. Today's date is circled for easy reference.

You can use the calendar to jump directly into a filtered view of the case list in two ways:

Filter by date: Tap any date to close the calendar and update the case list to show only cases scheduled for that day.

Filter by status: Tap a specific status count on a given day (e.g., the Pending count on a Thursday) to close the calendar and show only cases matching that status on that date. This is a fast way to get straight to the cases that need your attention on a specific day.

How Permanent Filters Affect the Calendar

If you have permanent filters active (such as filtering by surgical specialty or location), the calendar will reflect only the cases that match those filters. This means the case counts shown per day may not represent your full schedule if your view is filtered.
