Viewing Tray Details

When you need a closer look at a specific tray, you can tap into it from the Case Cart tab to open the Tray Details page. This page gives you everything you need to verify a tray's identity, confirm it was processed correctly, and review its full history, all in one place.

What You'll See at the Top

The top of the page shows the tray name, product line, vendor, tray ID, tray count, support type, and current processing status. This gives you a quick summary of what tray you're looking at before diving into the details below.

Images

The Images section shows photos of the tray submitted by the vendor rep, along with the date each photo was taken. If multiple photos are available, you can scroll through them using the arrows on either side. Photos are useful for visually confirming tray contents before a procedure.

SPD Instructions

The SPD Instructions section contains the processing guidelines for this specific tray, as provided by the vendor. This includes:

  • Decontam Method: the recommended decontamination method (e.g., Machine Wash)
  • Sterilization Method: the sterilization method to be used (e.g., Steam)
  • Sterilization Instructions: step-by-step processing instructions and any additional notes from the vendor

SPD staff can refer to this section when processing the tray to ensure compliance with the vendor's requirements.

Activity Log

The Activity Log shows the complete processing history for this tray, with each step timestamped and attributed to the person who recorded it. Events you may see include:

  • Tray added
  • Tray checked in
  • Tray decon
  • Tray cleaned
  • Tray sterilized

This log is useful for confirming that each processing step was completed, and by whom.
