Using the Tray Calendar in OR Readiness

When you're planning ahead or need a broader view of tray readiness across multiple days, the Tray Calendar gives you a week-at-a-glance summary of case and tray status, without having to scroll through the case list day by day. It's especially useful for spotting busy days early and identifying where trays may not be on track.

How to Open the Tray Calendar

On desktop, tap Tray Calendar in the top-right corner of the OR Readiness page.

On mobile, tap Calendar in the same location.

The calendar opens as an overlay showing the current week. Use the arrow buttons at the top to move forward or backward by week. Tap the X to close and return to the case list.

What the Calendar Shows

Each day displays a summary of all venodr supported cases scheduled for that date, including:

  • Total number of vendor supported cases
    • A breakdown of cases how many cases are in each readiness status: Not On-Site, Processing, Ready, Consigned, and No Trays
  • Total tray count for the day
    • A colored tray counter showing how many trays are at each processing stage
      • The tray counter colors match the same stages you see in the case list: red for Not On-Site, yellow for Checked In, gold for Decontam, blue for Cleaned, and green for Sterilized

You can use the calendar to jump directly to a filtered view of the case list in two ways:

Filter by date: Tap on any date to close the calendar and update the case list to show only cases scheduled for that day.

Filter by tray status: Tap on a specific status within a day (e.g., Not On-Site) to close the calendar and show only cases matching that status on that date. This is a quick way to jump straight to the cases that need attention on a given day.
